When You Change The Name, You Change The Game

It’s interesting to see how quick the dynamic of a situation can change once you change the name of one of the participants, one way to frame the issue for debate. Witness the big blowup going on over healthcare being made available for everyone as a right, not just a privilege for a privileged few.

Exactly who are the “conservatives” protecting from what they call rampant socialism?

The right calls them “Private Insurance Companies” and say that the single payer or public option plans will ruin them, drive them out of business as they can’t compete against the government.

However, if you change  the name of the private insurance companies from UnitedHealth Group, Wellpoint, CIGNA Corp, Aetna, Humana, Health Net, Blue Shield, Anthem Blue Cross, Oxford Health Plans, Kaiser Permanente, PacifiCare Systems, WellChoice, etc. to a more relevant one, such as “Blood Sucking Vampires”, perhaps it gets a bit harder to defend them.

Since I’m not looking to get into a hassle with WordPress over obscenity rulings, I’ll just tell you that the name that I call the whole stinking lot of them can be abbreviated to “C-sucking bastards“. Terse, sure, but for me it sets the correct tone and covers all the bases.

I suppose one could argue that the reason there aren’t more large private police (well, other than “Blackwater”) or local Fire Departments is that they couldn’t compete with the government, and as much as it pisses off the shouters at town halls nationwide, you have to say the same for Social Security or the Veterans Hospitals across the nation.

In the search by the pin heads on the right for ways to marginalize President Obama by making him look weak or wrong, those haters on the right will stop at nothing to find some way to make him or any of his programs fail at anything, anywhere, even if it means the slow painful death, or other grief put upon many of their fellow Americans, hence this fight against health care.

So, I’ve taken to calling them out, asking them where they  heard that crap. When I’m somewhere and some moron says how bad things have become since Obama got into office, I ask them to imagine that they’re out in the middle of the ocean dog paddling like mad just to keep afloat, and someone hands them an anchor to hold on to like Bush left for us to deal with.

More than I had imagined….

In a previous post, I opined that a few major reasons for our expanding economic disaster, other than those which have been brought on by the constant bumbling of our moron president, are happening off camera, so that our unseen government could work to close off the entitlement programs that they are not able to touch otherwise because of public support. For example, should the budget be pissed away on an endless war in West Bumfucistan, or stuffed into the pockets of friends of, let’s say the (Bush Crime) family, well then, there’s just nothing available for all of those needy bastards, piss on them……

The trickle down theory made simple:

It’s just how gravity works, now do you get it? 
Some of the programs that they had been unable to get shut down in spite of years of trying include Social Security, Head Start Education, Food Stamps, Medicare (which Ronald Reagan saw as pure socialism), etc, etc. This is the sort of stuff that the mega rich have no need for and don’t want others to get, they feel that you can’t raise yourself higher than the crowd without pushing others down. Also, when you are able to keep the poor undereducated and in constant debt from medical bills and other financial trauma, then you can jerk them around forever. Or until they learn about the revolutions in France and Russia.

Well, another cause that I had completely overlooked has now become obvious to me. If they’re able to break the budgets of the individual states, there will then be a huge gain in the controls that can be placed by the feds on problematic (for the federal government) state level issues like medical marijuana use, equal voting requirements, worker safety, etc…. this done by using the threat of removal of federal funds from states that go against the fed’s grain on such issues. And the states have an almost uniform budget crunch going on now, what with the loss of taxes because of the economy. An infinite loop if you will.

Clue # 3 for Barack Obama

Keep it simple.

When Bush makes this kind of punk statement about you (see below) regarding “appeasement”, immediately make it part of the public record exactly who this opinion is coming from.

This war time draft dodger in the White House is a person who is responsible for the elimination of billions of U.S. Dollars from our economy, the loss of the once great respect we had around the world, and the loss of thousands of U.S. lives. If you want to say he’s not the only one, remember the quote “the fish rots from the head”.

And by the way, much of this was done to speed up the transfer of dollars from the treasury to the mega-corporations, a multi purpose move as it also will speed up the bankruptcy the fed budget for entitlement programs, i.e. Social Security among others that the Rethuglicans have been trying to do for years.

Instead of having this un-named senator talk to Hitler, it might have been easier if Bush could have had another Senator, like perhaps Grandpa Prescott Bush, talk to Shicklegruber at the same time he was doing business with him, business dealings which continued until his company’s assets were seized in 1942 under the Trading with the Enemy Act. Profits from this funded the Bush crime family’s rise to power.
