O.K., I know that Sayonara (さようなら) is goodbye in Japanese and that Samsung is a Korean company, but the stretch was needed to make the point as I sadly will bid my fond adieu to my phone manufacturing company of choice for the past few years.
My Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has been a easy cruise after the long learning curve I went through with the previous ‘Droid Motorola phones that I’ve had, this one just instantly made sense to me. It fits my hand and my jeans pocket perfectly so I pretty much hit the ground running, the only drama was in learning to live with a steaming pile of bloatware that I didn’t want and couldn’t find a way to remove without the somehow connected Google (I’m looking at you “Maps”) or Samsung related installs going into a deep anaphylaxis shock.
Chances are that I still might in the near future get a newer Note 4, as my old phone, like it’s owner, gets older, but unless the Note 5 of the future manages to skip over this “upgrade” in an stupid attempt to fashion itself after the iPhone, since I’m not a 14 year old school girl or a gay guy, I’ll just say Adios.
No way to change the battery?
No way to insert a memory card?
No thanks, and once again, Sayonara Samsung.

Feel free to ignore any ads that are shown below this advisory, I don’t get to choose them and even more sadly, I don’t make a penny off any of them, so in the holy name of capitalism I rebuke and don’t endorse or support any of them, unless of course they’re made of funny stuff…..
P.S., check back for occasional updates and rewrites….
