Pepsico Met Me Half Way?
O.K., I’m claiming at least a partial victory here, in a previous post I castigated Pepsi-Cola for making so many offshoots that were sold in the same color/style bottle that people (me, anyway) often picked up the wrong stuff.
Would I like to drink a “Caffeine Free Diet Cherry Pepsi”?
Save us both some time, just kill me now.
So now comes a normal Pepsi that’s clad in a simple dark beautiful wrapper that just says Pepsi and sports their basic logo colors. Good start, all of you pencil pushers out there in Purchase, New York…
Here’s the other part of my request that hasn’t (to my knowledge) been dealt with yet: Bring back real Sugar!!!!
No more of this High Fructose Corn Syrup crap that is so addictive and cheap. How much do you think Pepsico saves per bottle when they use it instead of sugar? .005 cents per unit? From my experience with comments sent to me, there are a lot of us out here that feel this way.
Hey Pepsi-Co, get your market researchers off their collective asses and find out that educated customers like me want you to use real sugar again, as you did back in the day!
Meanwhile, in Japan……
My offer still goes “I’ll pay an additional .50 cents in American currency above the price charged for a liter bottle of the HFCS sweetened stuff for a Pepsi that uses regular sugar”.
(hey, here’s a link to Pepsi’s response to my offer …)
Hmm, perhaps this might not be the best time to stress that “American Currency” part too much.
Tell those morbidly obese ones to go roll down a hill chasing their donuts, they already have a big ass load of diet (fill in the variety) stuff everywhere, I want my Original Pepsi-Cola back
You know, the one I grew up with.
Well, I didn’t grow this much…….
