“Ballistic Missile” May Be Redundant…

A “missile” or rocket can only exist in one of two states of being:

One, it’s a monument to stupidity,

Or second, once launched to achieve its arc, it’s “ballistic”

Picture a kid with a gas can and some matches, just looking to experiment a bit. The actual ballistic arc here is following the path of the gas can to its predictible ending; If the kid’s lucky the only damage he’s going to create will be to items in the immediate test vicinity (or maybe his eyebrows?), if not, the blackened empty lot where his home used to stand will become a focus spot for the neighbors to comment on whenever the kid’s name is mentioned.

By the way, as a 10 year old I did more or less this same thing by putting a lit match into what I presumed to be an “empty” one gallon gas can. It should be noted that this can had been on its side next to the lawn mower with the cap off for at least a week, which is also the same amount of time it took for my fingers that were in the exhaust path to be able to move again without pain. Years later while I was working as a flight line mechanic on an F4 Phantom and watching it hit afterburner on takeoff, those same fingers flinched a bit. Perhaps this was sense memory at work?

Iran has ballistic missiles.

So, can anyone figure out how we can make some money now by buying up on the cheap any of that glow in the dark black glass coated parking lot that is (seems like) Iran’s future to be?

And then we can double down on the profits if and when some ex-patriot Iranians want to go back home some day!

Ah so! So this is where the education budget has been going for the last eight years! Heaven help us if another old white man steps in to run this bitch. The next chapter in American History will be titled “The Hundred Year War: The Sequel.”
